MTH produces three types of protective films for today’s Printed Circuit Board Industry. All are removable and can be applied on silver, diazo, or glass phototools.

1. ULTRAGAURD’s special scratch resistant surface was designed for automated high technology shops. Customers typically photoplot and coat to create first generation phototools. ULTRAGUARD #1 is quarter mil polyester, two tenths of a mil of adhesive.

2. PPF’s special non-stick surface was designed for liquid photoimageable solder mask and other direct contact imaging systems. PPF #1 is our ultra thin version, quarter mil polyester with 0.10 mils adhesive. PPF #52 is our thin version, half mil polyester, two tenths of a mil of adhesive

3. FILMGUARD is our most widely used film worldwide. FILMGUARD #1 (SUPER CLEAR) is our ultra thin version, quarter mil polyester, 0.15 mils adhesive. FILMGUARD #55 is half mil polyester and half mil adhesive providing the most protection of all our films.
